Upper North Falls in Silver Falls State Park
Upper North Falls in Trail of Ten Falls Oregon
Upper North Falls
was a pretty compact but classically rectangular-shaped 65ft waterfall. It is
the only waterfall in Silver Falls State Park that's not on a trail loop.
Stashed away east of the highway, 65-foot "Upper North" is often
overlooked or forgotten by visitors. For that reason it may be the most
peaceful waterfall in the park. The North Fork of Silver Creek drops off of a
basalt ledge here.
