Thiruporur Kailasanathar Temple in Pranava Malai

Thiruporur Shiva Temple is located at the top of Pranava Malai Hills. It is unusual that Shiva Temple is on the top of the hill and Murugan temple is at the base. Presiding Deity is called as Kailasanathar and Mother is called as Balambigai.

Moolavar and Ambal are facing east and Ambal is on the left side of Moolavar. Entrance to the temple is from south Side. Vinayagar, Dhakshinamoorthy, Lingothbhavar, Brahma and Durgai are found in the Koshtams. Srimath Chidambaram Swamigal Photo, Kasi Viswanathar Shrine, Bairavar Shrine, Suryan Shrine, Veerabadhrar Shrine are found in the Prakaram. Shrines of Vinayagar, Navagrahas and Vallalar are at the end of the steps.
