Kovur Sri Sundhareswarar Temple 

Kovur, a small town situated about 22 km from Chennai, has a massive Lord Shiva temple built by Kulothunga Chozha, dating back to 7th century. The presiding deities of this temple are Sri Sundhareswara (also called Thirumaeneeswarar) and Goddess Sri Soundharaambigai (also called Thiruvudai Naayagi).
