Harbins Park

Harbins Park is located near Dacula, Georgia in 1,290 acres with mountain biking and trail running. Its refereed as Gwinnett's Largest Park. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking, mountain biking & trail running. Dogs are also allowed to use this trail but must be kept on leash.


Harbins Park opened March 21, 2009 with 3 mountain bike trails.  The trails are commonly referred to as MB1-MB3. The forth trail MB4 opened in June 2009.  In March 2011 the fifth trail, MB5 opened.  All five sections were built by Steele & Associates Inc. with consultation help by SORBA GATR.  The trails are on average 18″-3′ wide, but will shrink down to 18″ or so as the new foliage comes in.There are some fantastic scenic views.


 
  • MB1 is good for beginners with 1.1 miles.  
  • MB2 is about 2 miles, adds a little challenge in there with some dips and small whoops along with some tight turns .  
  • MB3 is 3.7 miles, with long loop that runs downhill on one side, and up the other. 
  • MB4 is the more advanced area with three different downhill lines to choose from, along with 3 1/2 miles of XC trail. It has features for many levels of skill. 
  • MB5 is a double lariat of 7 miles.

Note : While going for a trail be careful , we saw few snakes in the Harbins park.
