Appur is a small village in Kattankolathur Taluk in Kanchipuram District of Tamil Nadu State, India. It is located 36 KM towards East from District head quarters Kanchipuram. 5 KM from Kattankolathur. 44 KM from State capital Chennai. Village is also called as Aappoor. 

The hill is called the Oushadha Giri and the temple is called the Sri Nithya Kalyana Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal temple.

The temple is situated on a tiny hill called Owshatha Giri one has to climb around 500 steps to reach the temple ( and also more monkeys will be there , better to have stick will be safe)

How to Reach : Appur is one of the Village in Kattankolathur Taluk in Kanchipuram District in Tamil Nadu State . This village lies on the west side of Singaperumal Koil off the GST Road. One has to take right from SP Kovil through the railway level crossing and drive about 3 kms and again take right and go about another 3 kms to reach Appur. ( The hill will be visible from the main road, to reach the foot path you have proceed half km) .

 Route Singaperumal koil to Sriperumbudur road around 20 kms before Sriperumbudur.
